Too far isn’t a phrase recognised by Grammar Nazis. They take it as grammatical incorrectness and treat is as such.

Ha, awesome! I am a closet Grammar Nazi, where I say nothing while cringing inside. Misused apostrophes are the visual equivalent of nails on a chalkboard to me.
