The Undead

There are quite a few jesus as zombie cartoons on the net and I thought I’d add another one. This one has had quite a good reaction so far (it has already featured on my Facebook account), but I get the feeling that my mum & dad aren’t going to like it too much.

Got a glorious jesus-as-zombie design? Custom t-shirts make great gifts for the living.

Why is it soo easy to believe in a 2000 year old zombie but not believe in the right to believe what you want?
If you choose to be a christian than be but don’t go on a crusade to save those that are not.

  2. chadxfallen

i agree that if Christians want to be Christians, than they shouldnt push shit on others, but everyone has to remember that it goes both ways, so an atheist cant get pissed when a Christian has something to say about something like this. i have dealt with a LOT of biggots on both sides, and the atheists are by far the most aggressive and forceful of the two.

    • kevin

      in response to chadxfallen:
really? i’m a christian myself, and i’ve always felt that my fellow christians were the worse of the two. but maybe we just get publicised more, who knows? also, this comic is hillarious! offensive sure, but still hillarious ^-^

    • Shran

I agree Biggots can be found on either side, just like racism itself is colorblind.
Which of both is worse ? I don’t know.
I’m no religious guy, but what annoys me is the boring humor of lots of atheists, it almost seems they can’t have fun without ridiculing religion.

      • Rick

It’s not that we can’t have fun without making fun of religion, it’s just that it’s soooooo much fun to make fun of it.

        • MrBizmo

Haha that was a good response and it was a joke not directed to religion.

    • Redeflect

Actually… most atheists support freedom to believe what you wish… we just get aggressive when Christians start spouting how everyone is going to hell and how “wrong” they are for not following the bible. How often do you see atheists criticizing Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Wicans? Not nearly as often as you see them criticizing Christians. Why? Because the Christians start criticizing the Atheists, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Wicans and start pissing people off. Atheists only get aggressive with Christians because they are so adamantly blind to the rights of others and get fed up with their crap. No other religion is as intolerant as Christianity. Some of the Muslim leaders and people may be intolerant, but the religion itself is not.

    • Guest

Well it’s because they are right.

  3. SinisterSpook

For me the most pushy people were muslims, I get cabs frequently and whenever the driver is a muslim he talks about how right his religion is and I should become a part of it too.

    • Shran

      Hmmmmm…
I live in an european country, I’ve got quite a number of Muslim neighbors, I work with a lot of Muslims and I have Muslim friends. So far none has told me I should become a Muslim, even when I told I wanted to know more about Islam. Now that I think of it, in 44 years I’ve had only 1 little argument with a Muslim and it even wasn’t about belief.
But… I’ll try to get cabs with a Muslim-driver, maybe those Muslims are different.

  4. Khoma_Kodama

    Well played… =D

  5. STDizzle

    Funny thought.

Even though he probably wasnt the son of god, Jesus did actually exist. dont mix your facts up.

    • Rick

There is no historical record of Jesus of Nazareth, I wouldn’t say he couldn’t have existed, but you no one has been able to unequivocally prove he did.

  6. hannibal5001

Well the Christians that “force” it upon people usually are going about it the wrong way. They are also usually young or immature. The way God set it up is we are suppose to love and have patience, but people get gung hoe about things and don’t study the Bible enough, so they try to force things on people because they are told to witness. Thats all they know to do…. I apologise if anyone has been offended by any young Christians that didn’t understand how to go about things…. Christians aren’t perfect… Im definitely not… And history does show that Jesus of Nazereth did exist….

    • Kwezlit

“And history does show that Jesus of Nazereth did exist….”

Actually no. All the non-Christian sources that mention a Jesus of Nazareth are either widely thought to be forged or based on Christian sources. There is no independent confirmation there ever was someone called Jesus of Nazareth. Even if there was, we have no real way of knowing who he was or what he preached.

    • Rea

I have experienced more force from adult Christians than from young Christians. Although some from both. I think it depends a lot on the individual, that individual’s upbringing, perhaps their own church or personal interpretation of the bible. There’s a lot that goes into it. But in general I’ve heard more harsh words from adults that should know better… at least that they aren’t winning anyone over that way. At the very least it’s more likely to offend from an adult for just that reason. But yes there are irrational and bigoted people on both sides for sure.

  8. jpmedic65

Hey muslims.Notice that nobody is burning down cities demanding that the author die?
Make fun of Jesus, laughter. Make fum of mohammed, you start screaming jihad!

  9. T III

Are you absolutely sure that Zombies don’t exist? I mean, what happens if Tar Man stumbles up behind you and you don’t believe he exists and he eats your brains?

That’s just poor for-thought lol. At least if Jesus exists then he’d maybe get cross with you for watching pron or something and give you a stern telling off.

Favourite Zombie quote of all time: “Send more paramedics.”

  10. FSM

You are all wrong. I am God. Don’t worry though, all who commented and neglected to mention my holy name will still get into heaven… Because i’m drunk right now.

    • nona dog

Whatever, dude. But don’t forget that dog spelled backwards is god.

  11. You are wrong...sorry

umm well actually zombies are people that have been brought back to life to serve humans as slaves. They don’t really want to eat our flesh they are just bodies without souls who are serving those that rose them from the grave. They are common in the voodoo religion and they whole eating flesh was just a stigmatization given to them by Hollywood

  12. Jon

I read that zombyism is a real thing that has occured due to people poisoning each other so that it looks like your dead only to wake up in the grave and dig your way out. BUT Jesus is not real.

  13. nnnnnn

WELL YOU CAN’T PROVE THAT ZOMBIES DON’T EXIST

    • DJ Bogtrotter

True, but as with invisible pink unicorns, orbiting teapots, spaghetti monsters & deities, the onus of proof falls on those who claim that they do exist.

  14. Zangief86

    F**k You!

    Zombies do exist!

  15. kidkid

i like this whole discussion. i hope that zombies will be the reason for the apocalypse though.

  16. Brian

This is nice. This conversation that we’re having is nice. It’s nice to be nice :)

  17. Lisa

I believe it’s been proven that Jesus did really exist. He didn’t walk on water or come back to life or anything, but he did actually exist.

  18. Billybob

yo, maybe god exists. maybe it doesn’t. Getting all pissy and technical; like wether Jesus existed or not on a blog thread ain’t gonna change nothin’. If god exists then good on the christoes for believing, if it doesn’t then good on the athiests for not wasting their time.

  19. Lilly

ummmm, I am an athiest however historically spekaing Jesus did exist. The whole Son of God business that is up to interpretation. But existence is pretty certain…

  20. Deth Invictus

What truly fun and enlightening discussion! :P

Anyway…..firstly, bigot has one “g” not two.

Secondly, get a grip! It’s a comic – if you don’t like, just take your poor, narrow tolerances elsewhere and let the rest of us enjoy the twisted mind of the author of this site.

Do you see me going to “faith” sites and decrying their beliefs? Strangely enough, you don’t.

Try turning the other cheek and practise some tolerance, eh? ;)

  21. Colster

Also, Jesus would have been middle eastern looking with dark(er) skin, darker eyes and curlier hair than the figure commonly depicted. He was Jewish too…

  22. Masterson

    CCCCCCOOOOMMBOOOO BREAKEEEERRR!!!!!

  23. Bato

um “chain” breaker <.< just thought id point that out.

    ch-ch-ch-chaaaaaaiiin breaaaker

  24. ! wrong

No, combo breaker is correct. Don’t try to nit-pick.

  25. Dave

Says you who’s nit-picking what Bato said ;)

To the pic: agree 100%. Neither zombies nor Jesus exist. At least, not in the way most people think about it. I’m sure there were some Jewish carpenters back in the day…
